We are told throughtout the Bible and by Jesus Himself that all of us together must take care of our orphans and widowers.

Do we not pay  attention or do we just get to “busy” being “busy”?  Perhaps we push uncomfortable feelings of guilt out of our minds because we are ashamed of our lack of assistance.

Why don’t we want to face tour  intuition (our conscience) that we could and should do more. If we just stop for a moment and think about the lives of our orphans and our widowers; how could we not automatically want to help in any way we can. OK….. so what are you waiting for?

What do our Orphans want most?

 I believe that orphans here in the United States and everywhere throughout the entire word have the same exact major needs. They might feel alone, left out, abandoned and most of all not loved or wanted’

These are very difficult emotions for anyone to live with. Imagine for a moment living life alone and feeling unsafe with every tiny step you make.

These major internal concerns could only help but to foster an additional major setback for our orphans, low self-esteem; wouldn’t you say? 

Our orphans need caring as well as financial support. Yes there are other different and difficult concerns and particular unique circumstances for our orphans throughout the world however it all boils down to how much caring and love we can offer God’s children.

What do Widows and Widowers Need Most?

It is very difficult getting over the loss of a loved one; whether it is through abandonment, divorce or death. In side they feel the loss of love.

They are no longer needed or wanted.Their children may have families of their own and perhaps live far away. This combination of loss for our widows and widowers is a magnification of also very difficult emotions to live with. They are now alone no longer feel safe and experience a sense of low self-esteem. Uncertainty develops with any future steps they are forced to take through life’s journey. Not only do our widows and widowers need caring but also perhaps financial assistance. Yes, there are other unique circumstances but again the major concerns are the same; wouldn’t you say?
