Seniors Stay Home where the Heart Is

 A High Percentage of Our Senior population desire to remain in their homes instead of instead of considering a nursing home or another form of residence. 

Moving is full of anxiety and can be very stressful. Conceder when you are moving because you want to for an improvement of life style than that is a good feeling; a totally different story.  

Seniors who are living at home become very comfortable and then when forced to move problems begin to develop.

Think about this; you are living at home where you are very comfortable then uprooted being forced to move; how happy would you be. That has to be a very uncomfortable change and may actually not be the best scenario for that person.

Safe at Home:

Tommy’s Team was created so that our seniors can receive their  necessary  needs from other Seniors, Single Parents, Peoples with Disabilities, our Orphans and our Military. Hopefully when these different groups interact  with each other they can provide all that is necessary.  As you ca see, we are open to everyone. We all need a little hep sometime.

Simply by joining, connecting and sharing at the “Wishing Well” all our dreams come true.The biggest concern for each group believe it or not is loneliness. Let’s start by connecting and building beyond a companionship; perhaps an additional family environment. How much safer can one be? Everything is possible when you go to the “Wishing Well”.

Senior Care: To keep our Seniors at home we can provide services such as laundry, companionship, housecleaning, food shopping, transportation etc. A senior in need can also offer his or her own unique God given gifts to some other member of the different groups. If possible the receiving member might also offer whatever special talent they might have to the member servicing them also.

It is a  Win Win situation for all. Your responsibility or pay back so to speak is too if possible satisfy the person who is helping you or some other member of the different groups ( Other Seniors, Single Parents, Orphans, Peoples with Disabilities or our Military) from the “Wishing Well”. Volunteers are always welcome and so are you.
